Well thanks to Phil Cloud and Kurt Scheurer, we have two $50 bills and we just sent 2 Blue Star Mothers out in the store to see what they could buy.  We will be comparing donations soon!

Thanks to Pull-um Automotive for donating $100 to start another shopping spree and then $20 to cover postage!

Thank YOU Toni, Log Cabin Inn Banquet Center for Shopping Local!

If you attend this event you will also be able to walk thru the LIBERTY TRAILER PROJECT!
HONOR. EDUCATE. INSPIRE.

Inspire Patriotism.
MISSION:  To be a visual reminder in our community of the high price of freedom and as a memorial to those who gave their lives and to the families who sacrificed so much.

PURPOSE:  To make the "Liberty Trailer" available to those groups seeking to raise awareness of the mission - at no cost to them through "Event Sponsorship."

WHERE:  Parades, fairs, fund raisers, etc.

FUNDING:  It is funded by Patriots who love this country and understand how much was sacrificed for the freedom we now enjoy, and those who are willing to do something to see that this freedom, "LIBERTY", is preserved for future generations.

9-1-1 Open House

WION BROADCASTS FROM 3RD ANNUAL IONIA COUNTY DISPATCH/9-1-1 OPEN HOUSE

WION is proud to be part of Ionia County 9-1-1/ Central Dispatch Open House on October 4th.

WION's microphones are on the road frequently this autumn!  Join Jim Carlyle, WION's morning host and Penny Beeman, WION's community events coordinator as they broadcast from the evening session of Ionia County  9-1-1's open house, on Tuesday October 4th!  The Open house is at the 9-1-1/Central Dispatch center at 545 Appletree Drive with public open house tour hours of 1-4PM and again from 6-8PM.

WION was recently named by Jim Valentine of Ionia County 9-1-1 as the place to turn for updates in severe or strong weather, by using WION's available FREE app for your cellphone or mobile device when a conventional radio or TV is not available:
" In the event you do not have access to radio or television (such as your place of work); our own local radio station, WION has the following free app for cell phones. This is another good way to stay connected to receive local alerts, notifications and updates."

Please join WION and consider yourselves invited to the open house at Central Dispatch/9-1-1 in Ionia on Tuesday October 4th. This is one of many stops for the WION "mobile mics" this Autumn. Get your free APP for WION in Google Play or I-tunes by searching "WION" and looking for the familiar "tower" logo!  WION is also available 24/7 on the Tune-In Radio app.

For open house hours see 9-1-1's Facebook page in Ionia County, and join WION from 6-8 PM October 4th for fun, information, and a visit with the people who help keep us all safe!

For more information contact: Jim Carlyle,  Co-Owner/Manager WION;  616-527-9466 or office@i1430.com
