Main Street Music Benefit

In June Main Street Music experienced a big set back with major roof damage to their building!  The Community has been helping every since with a donation from the Tin Box Tourists kicking things off following the weekend of OZ Fest.

Here is note from Owners Jim and Gretchen that was posted in July:
Gretchen and I have been totally humbled the last 3 weeks by the show of love, and support, we have been blessed with after gravity has changed our immediate and future plans for the building.
So far, over 300 man hours have been logged cleaning from front to back. There wasn't one piece of retail or recording equipment that did not get effected by the huge amount of dust and debris.
At one point Saturday, there were 5 shop vacs running at once.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to all listed who helped, and to all not listed, who we know are praying for us and continuing to support the GoFundMe campaign we have running.
Jim and Gretchen

Main Street Music is there to support our community at numerous community events!  Let's return the favor and show our support by attending and donating at this event!

Ionia Band Boosters

The Ionia Band Boosters welcomes community members to join their Annual Golf Scramble on August 22nd. Registration is only $220 per team or $55 for an individual. This will not only get you 18 holes of golf with a cart, but also dinner, catered by Lumber Mill Inn, consisting of pull pork, salads and dessert. The day will surely be fun with contests including: longest drive men/women, closest to the pin men/women, longest putt, 50/50 Raffles and more
This event is a great way to support the award winning Ionia High School Band. Money raised will be used for Band Camp Financial Assistance, transportation, maintenance of instruments and equipment, band uniforms, supplies, and other unexpected costs that may arise.
The marching band students have already been hard at work, attending Band Camp at Camp Kimball as well as practicing at least once a week. The theme for this year’s program is “Play Time” and you can see them perform at the Ionia High School’s first home football game on Thursday, August 27th.
